What is it?
Solving crossword puzzles to increase your vocabulary. Doing crossword puzzles is a great way to practice language with your child.
For who is it?
Children from group 4 and their parents and/or older brothers/sisters.
What can we do?
You can find all kinds of puzzle books in the supermarket. But you can also find them in newspapers, door-to-door magazines and free newspapers like Spits and Metro. You can start by making a puzzle together with your child. This way your child will learn more from your answers and will be encouraged to make some of their own.
After that you can let your child try by themselves, offering your help and guidance if necessary. A fun extra is the fact you can send in the solutions to try and win prizes!
