What is it?
When you are together on your way to school by car or bicycle you can be busy with language. In this way you can make those daily rides a language party.
For who is it?
For all parents and their children between 2 and 12 years.
What can we do?
Talk together about the things you see. If you child is not yet talking, then you can tell them what you see. (‘look there goes a pussycat’ or ‘we are waiting for the traffic light’)
Talk with them about the things they will do at school or what he/she did. Encourage your child to talk by asking open questions like ‘how was your day at school?’ Sing songs together, i.e. a song that your child has learned at school.
